Blog Post #9

My first thought about science was I never really liked it because I always seen it as using chemicals, something like math with different numbers and problem solving. But now I see it totally different. There is different ways to learn about science for example learning about robots, and human cloning. Many of my paper's that I wrote about was based on human cloning. Also, many of the course pack readings were based on robots and future technology. My views have changed while reading about human cloning because now I actually have an opinion about it. Now I believe that human cloning is unethical. While reading Carly Churchill's "A Number" you can get a sense of how the future of human cloning may go.  A quote by the author states "and they take this painless scrape this specky little cells of me and kept that and you threw the rest of me away"(Churchill 162). This quote shows how easy the cloning may be in the future and this is very sad because anyone can be cloned. Before I read all of these stories about future technology I new really knew that people care about human cloning. I thought that people just advanced computer's and different things like that. Now there is different types of robots and they can talk dance, and recognize different objects it is kind of scarey. Using these different types of stories thought me how to use quote sandwiches and cite much better. I can really take all of the information I have learned and apply it to different classes I take in the future. I didn't really have challenges it was more of fallowing instructions and knowing what my professor was expecting from me. I had a great experience in all my classes and I can't wait to take my other classes and learn more and different things that I didn't know before.
