Research Topic

The research topic that I am interested in is "Portraying robots or human clones"#5 and "Science and Technology"#1. I really don't know witch one I want to do at this time. I just want to do some research and read into both of them. I don't want to do a movie i rather do something on a book or article.

    Good! We will be looking at some film excerpts on artificial intelligence / robotics in LIB 110 this week or next. In the meantime, you can find these clips (for ideas) at the bottom of the eng101lagcc.pbworks.com page here: http://eng101lagcc.pbworks.com/Robots-in-Film,-TV-and-Real-Life

    For topic #5, you will want read ahead on our 'core' reading on AI/robotics: Ray Kurzweil's book, The Singularity Is Near, which we have in our course pack starting on p. 114+. Definitely read ahead. If you want a 'printed' book, you could use our graphic novel excerpt on androids, starting on 208. (The non-graphical, old-fashioned sci-fi novel is on pp. 248+). You may rely on written sources entirely for this paper. Hope this helps! -Prof. D.

    There was a book i read about technology and how it sort of took over the human race, i just cant remember the title of the book. As soon as i figure it out i will let you know
